Meet your 2013 Cooperative Hall of Fame Inductees
Four outstanding cooperative leaders received the cooperative community’s highest honor on Wednesday, May 8th, 2013, when they were inducted into the Cooperative Hall of Fame. The 2013 inductees are (from left to right) – credit union leader Joy Cousminer, worker cooperative leader Steven Dawson, cooperative financer Rebecca Dunn, and cooperative educator Leland Ruth.
These cooperative leaders were recognized at the annual Cooperative Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. “The roster of the Cooperative Hall of Fame tells the story of the U.S. cooperative community through the lives and accomplishments of extraordinary individuals. Induction to the Cooperative Hall of Fame is reserved for those who have made genuinely heroic contributions to the cooperative community,” said Gasper Kovach, Jr., Board Chair of the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF) which administers the Hall of Fame.
