Charles C. Teague

From 1920 through 1950, Charles Teague served as president and chairman of the board of California Fruit Growers Exchange, now Sunkist Growers, Inc. During this time he helped organize the California Walnut Growers Association (Diamond Walnut), and also served as its president. He was a member of the Federal Farm Board, and served as chairman of the American Institute of Cooperation, the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, and for 25 years, the Agricultural Council of California, where he provided dynamic and progressive leadership.
